FRIENDS ,
Jude is more of the type of person to have a few very close friends rather than a big circle of acquaintances. Though he is a very social being, as most humans are, he's very quiet and more observant than outspoken. At the same token, however, he's certainly not mute; he does enjoy conversing with others, especially those he feels most comfortable around. Though he's often hesitant to reveal too much about himself, and may appear distant to those who don't already know him well. It's not that he's not interested, or that he doesn't care; quite the contrary, actually, as Jude is a very warm, loving person. But trust doesn't exactly come easily for him and it takes a while for him to build up a strong connection with another person. However, given the chance, J.T. is an extremely loyal friend who will treat you like his own brother or sister as your friendship with him blossoms. Being the oldest of three children, he's particularly protective over those close to him, and often feels the need to take on a paternal or brotherly role to anyone he meets, mostly due to the evens of his childhood and the fact that he spends so much time with his niece, Emmalyn.

LOVE ,
Jude is probably the most calm, patient, level-headed person you will ever meet... except when it comes to love. Love makes him nervous and scared and will send his head into a spin faster than you could ever imagine. He has a fear of commitment that often keeps him from getting that close to someone. Now, that doesn't mean he's going to go sleep around and adopt a "no strings attached" mentality; Jude isn't quite up for that, either. He'd rather just distance himself from others, as he is too afraid to even take that chance. Throughout his childhood, J.T. watched his parents relationship go from bad to worse to outright brutal. He's never seen a stable relationship work before, and because of that, he can't even begin to understand the concept of one. He's convinced himself that love doesn't work, and refuses to even try to take the chance out of fear of being heartbroken or ended up like his parents. Someone might be able to prove him otherwise, though, if they were up to the challenge of developing that type of deep intimacy with him. After all, deep down, Jude can be a very romantic person. He knows how to treat a person right and already has a very kind and loving persona about him that if he did ever find his "soul mate" his devotion to her would be unconditional and lasting.

HATE ,
As everyone usually does, Jude could also have a few enemies out there, as well. If you don't take the time to know him, on the outside he might just appear as some prissy, stuck-up, insensitive know-it-all that has no interest in anyone but himself. Of course, this isn't exactly the case, but the lack of emotion he often has on his face, combined with his dress code and his other physical aspects, Jude's personality could very easily be misunderstood, thus leading people to think negatively of him. Not only that, but J.T. would also probably be sworn enemies with anyone who tried to hurt one of his friends or relatives. He's fiercely defensive of their wellbeing and would do just about anything to ensure their happiness and safety.
